Students are placed in small groups with others of a similar ability and, where appropriate, the same exam board. Lessons follow a structured progression through the key GCSE English skills, with students developing mastery before moving on.

The small-group format allows for personalised feedback while giving students the added benefit of structured resources, optional homework, and support between sessions.

Lessons take place via Zoom, using interactive tools such as a digital whiteboard where students can annotate texts, write responses, and work through model answers with their tutor.
