Tuition is primarily delivered online, making expert GCSE and KS3 English support accessible to students across the UK. For families local to Bolton, face-to-face tuition is also available at the tutor’s location.
Online lessons allow your tutor to see what your child is writing in real time, making it possible to provide immediate feedback, encouragement, and support while they are working.

Support is available for students from age 11 through to GCSE, with teaching tailored to their current ability, confidence, and learning goals.

Students are placed in small groups with others of a similar ability and, where appropriate, the same exam board. Lessons follow a structured progression through the key GCSE English skills, with students developing mastery before moving on.

Yes. Tuition covers the major GCSE English exam boards, including AQA, Eduqas, WJEC, Pearson Edexcel, and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE.
Teaching is also kept aligned with current National Curriculum expectations and the skills schools are generally developing.

Everything your child needs is organised through the Tutorbird platform, including links to Zoom lessons and the student forum, and access to resources.
Lessons take place via Zoom, using interactive tools such as a digital whiteboard where students can annotate texts, write responses, and work through model answers with their tutor.

Tuition is available from £40 per week, charged pro-rata and paid monthly in advance.
